At Duca Amedeo we love the environment and this can be seen in the immense care we take of our green spaces and our efforts to save energy. We use outdoor LED lighting outside, inverter air conditioners, low-energy consumption light bulbs, water saving features, an innovative water purification system, a powerful solar thermal plant for hot water and a 60 kW photovoltaic system that covers almost all of our electricity needs. This philosophy earned us the 2005 LEGAMBIENTE for being one of the top 12 tourist facilities in Italy and the ROYAL AWARD for Italy in 2006.

The swimming pool with whirlpool, kid’s area, water slide and solarium provides the right combination of fun and relaxation, perfect for water aerobics or poolside fitness.

Our entertainment staff organise sports tournaments for children, including football, table football, table tennis, bowls, beach volleyball. as well as pool parties and other activities. We aim to provide fun, creative activities so they can make the most of the time they spend in nature and by the blue sea.

For cycling enthusiasts, we have a fleet of bikes for hire. The area offers 25 km of cycle paths along the seafront between Martinsicuro and Roseto to the south and, to the north, after a short section of the Adriatic motorway, a similar path, takes you into the Marche region.

And for those who are fit and raring to go, you can cycle into the hills through vineyards and endless olive groves, along the various wine and oil trails where our gastronomic specialities come to life: Petruziano PDO olive oil; Trebbiano, Cerasuolo, Montepulciano, Pecorino and Passerina wines.

At about 80 m from the village, on the Martinsicuro promenade, there is the UMA BEACH CLUB Cucina di Mare – Pizzeria – Lounge Bar, a fantastic bathing establishment, directly on the sea, where you can have lunch or dinner on a very suggestive terrace lulled from the sound of the sea waves, with excellent value for money and the possibility to stock up on take-away food or to take advantage of a discount thanks to a voucher that can be received by connecting to the wifi network of Duca Amedeo.

The town centre is just 200 m away. The fishing dock, less than 1 km away, is a popular destination for guests wishing to buy fish straight from the fishermen’s nets.

Padel

New: sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the nearby paddle courts about 5 minutes (1 km) away from the Duca Amedeo Camping Village. Thanks to the collaboration with the Magic Sport team you will have:

Swimming pool

Just a short distance from the sea, at the heart of our Village is a children's swimming pool with a water slide and an adults’ pool overlooked by our wonderful ATTICO 158 terrace, where you can enjoy the most relaxing and energising moments of your holiday. Our swimming pool has easy access for guests with physical disabilities. Qualified lifeguards supervise the safety of guests in the pool. The pool is open from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Swimming caps must be worn in the pool.

Entertainment

At Duca Amedeo, we offer a range of entertainment activities for youngsters and adults. A dense programme of activities is provided at different times of the day: 10.00 am flexibility training; 10.30 am water aerobics and group dancing on the beach; 12.00 pm pre-lunch aperitif game; 4.00 pm sports tournaments; about 9.00 pm evening show.

Mini Club

Our Mini Club is for youngsters aged 3 and over. Lots of fun games and activities for children on their holiday with entertainment on the beach from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and workshops from 4 to 6 pm. Kids’ activities include: treasure hunt, games in the mini club area, Nutella Cowboy – a Nutella party with a pony ride, pizza party with pizzas made by the children themselves, dance evening and lots of shows.

Wi-Fi

WIFI available throughout the village. Our apartments have good reception and the WIFI signal even reaches you on the beach!

Car park

The facility has a shaded car park free for all guests of the Village and the apartments.

Bike hire

Duca Amedeo offers a bike hire service, giving you the freedom to move around and make the most of your holiday by the sea.

Duca Amedeo Village and Campsite provides a night-time security watch to ensure the safety of all our guests.

As our guests you are entitled, by connecting to our Wifi network, to an unlimited discount voucher that can be spent at the UMA BEACH CLUB Cucina di Mare - Pizzeria - Lounge Bar, located just 80 meters from the village. the Uma BEACH CLUB is a modern establishment directly on the sea, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the unrepeatable opportunity to have lunch or dinner lulled by the sound of the waves of the sea. Picnic and barbecue area

Duca Amedeo has 6 barbecue facilities and a wood-fired oven available for guests to cook for themselves. You can enjoy your meals in our picnic area with tables and benches.
